Braunschweig, Germany--Industrial 3D measurements specialist AICON 3D Systems has opened an office in Plymouth, MI, to support its expanding operations in North America. Regional offices exist in Seoul, Korea, and Luxembourg already.

North American general manager Paul Joss, who joined the company on January 1, will head the new office, which will focus on strengthening and expanding the distribution network for its products in Canada, Mexico, and the US. The new office will also support the company’s existing resellers and customers in the region.
