Boulder, CO--Laser optics manufacturer Advanced Thin Films (ATFilms), a unit of IDEX Optics & Photonics, has promoted Joe Stupfel as its new general manager at their Boulder location. In his role, he will be responsible for the continuing the company's growth on all levels.

Stupfel has held numerous senior leadership positions during his tenure with IDEX Corporation, including overseeing the marketing, sales, engineering, and strategic business development functions within IDEX Health & Science. Most recently he served as the director of integration for the CVI Melles Griot acquisition.
