Multiphase (2- and 4-phase) ICD200 stepper controller/driver series controls high-throughput working features of advanced NEMA-sized stepper motors. The stand-alone system executes trapezoidal and S-curve shape (memory data) acceleration/deceleration motion profiles. The 60 × 90 × 36-mm unit offers three operation modes--sensor mode, absolute position mode, and relative position mode--and is rated at 1.2 amps/phase for unipolar stepper motors and 0.6 amps/phase for bipolar motors. Input power is 24 Vdc, with power consumption of 36 W. It is daisy-chainable up to 15 devices using RS-485 communication protocol.
