Project PHOTON PBL, created by the New England Board of Higher Education, is designed to meet the challenge of educating a workforce prepared to adapt to the complex and rapidly changing demands of the 21st century high-tech environment. Funded by a three-year grant from the Advanced Technological Education program of the National Science Foundation, the project uses problem-based learning based on “Challenges” contributed by industry and research partners.
